Getting Ready for the 2010 Season
August 16th, 2010When you are in the business of hanging and installing Christmas lights, you have to get started in late summer or early fall. It is important to plan ahead in order to have a successful season.
We placed our order for Christmas lights from our supplier in February but expect delivery the beginning of September. We get better prices when we order early. We ordered over 10,000 ft of C7/C9 wire and plenty of universal clips and photocell timers.
We are working with commercial retail clients now and will begin working with residential homeowners in October. If you are the type that likes to plan ahead and ensure you have a spot on our busy calendar, please request an estimate online. We do offer discounts for October installs.
We will have our full team back this year, including our installation superstar, Shawn! Shawn is a roofer at OverlandParkRoofRepair.com during the summer and hangs lights with us in the Fall and Winter. You have to see him in action. He has truly mastered his coefficient of gravity. It is impressive. He is right at home on ladders and roofs. He is fast and gets it done right the first time. He knows how long each run can be to avoid tripping GFIs or breakers. You can rest easy when you have Shawn doing your lights.
We will be contacting our current customers in October to begin scheduling installations. Please contact us if you have any special requests.

Takedowns Weather Permitting

We will be scheduling Christmas light takedowns and removals throughout the month of January, weather permitting. In order to keep our people safe and avoid injuries, we can only take down the lights when roofs are clear of snow.
